Lovely lovely, my new spoil from New York! Crabtree & Evelyn was having a sale of sorts and I promptly bought one of my favourite scents, Lily of The Valley. I love how feminine this floral fragrance is. It's perfect for sunny days (dates?) in the fields and a white dress. I also love how it has this 'English Rose' feel to it. I was literally skipping my way around the mall because I was so happy with the purchase. I had a free body lotion (worth USD$20) along with it. Happiness~ Crabtree & Evelyn have terrible sales in Singapore me thinks... Like non-existent sales... So my happiness is doubled. Ooooo oooo happy! Shall be switching between this and my other favourites, Bvlgari's Rose Essentialle and L'Artisan Perfumeur's Papillons (Jasmine). I'm a hugggge sucker for floral scents.
With the bimbo rant over, now comes my inner bitch: Men who embarrasses the Other Half.
On my flight to Tokyo, I came across Moron Specimen #1. Very typical Singaporean. Impatient as hell and typical male pig. Woman asked me for 'panadol' which we don't have. We aren't bloody Singapore Airlines. We have Aspirin or Japanese Bufferin, which are very strong. Now, we are very careful when we prescribe medicine to passengers because we don't know if they are allergic to those particular brands and we certainly do not want to be responsible if anything goes wrong. We are briefed over and over again as a flight safety thing. Anyway so I apologised and explain that we don't have panadol (again, we ARE NOT BLOODY SINGAPORE AIRLINES) but we do have aspirin which is STRONG. The last time I took it I turned green and had cramps all the way to New York. I didn't tell her that but I did tell her that it might be strong. She thought over it a bit. Moron Specimen #1 got impatient and shifted on his feet. Woman pondered more.
Woman: It's strong ar?
RJ: Yes, aspirin is strong. Side effects may include stomach cramps. If you want it, I could get it for you. But I wouldn't recommend it if it is just a slight headache.
Moron: So what are chu talking abowt?! You either give or don't give!!
I looked at his pimply face, sparse eyebrows and receding hairline and decided to ignore him. Lowly beings like him don't deserve my attention. I turned back to the woman and saw her blush with a little embarrassment. Yep, I would too. It's one thing to be 'valiant' in front of your girlfriend. This just isn't one of those situations. But it's ok, I understand pit-dwellers like him will never get it. I mean, he IS concerned about his girl, which is good. Pity he lacks the vocabulary and charm.
And then there was this Japanese male pig who seriously only grunts and mutters. WTF. I had to srcutinise his girlfriend/wife and wonder what she saw in him.
See, I have this weird past-time. Whenever I meet rude people, I would immediately look to the other half and wonder what they saw in the other moron. Life is a constant puzzle. There are seriously unlovable people out there but if they can find a mate, I guess it really is true that there is someone for everybody.
Heh.
Anyway so back in Tokyo, I went shopping for presents. And then I came across cheap nail art! I had zero interest in manicures and such but since I am way too bored and looking for some creative outlet, I decided to try them. It's Spring afterall! Yay~
RocketJim's Simple Nail Art!!

Clean nails and my usual suspects. The pink one is for my flights. The others are adornments I use when I have alot of free time.

My favourite combo of light pink and green shimmer for the top 1/3. I came across this in a Japanese fashion magazine and thought I would try it. Easy as hell. But I don't think beings like Moron Specimen #1 could manage such a feat ever. :P

Tadaa! With some simple floral nail seals. Unfortunately my phone camera isn't built with a better resolution so pardon about that. I broke my Sony camera's screen. :(
Total amount spent? 80yen or about SGD$1.10. I mean seriously, manicures and pedicures are soooo indulgent. I don't need a stranger to cut my nails if I can do it myself. Plus, I think I have a knack for such bimbo things. Nice~ when I get bored, I will try my new strawberry seals!
