Clean Teeth = Good Mouth

I need loud music. And I want to dance so baaaaaad. Maybe I should try clubbing in New York. Dear God, please let me fly with spontaneous, fun girls this time.

Anyway I had a girlfriend admitted to me that she don't read the newspapers as much as she checks my blog everyday. I am SO flattered. :D :D :D Maybe I should do a public service and add snippets of news in my blog since I do read the newspapers everyday while I know many of my friends don't (I read alot cuz I am so free). Or maybe I should change the format of my blog so it looks like some online newspapers site so my friends won't get caught if their bosses hang around behind them. Brilliant.

I will consider it next time. Too lazy.

But today I have interesting nuggets to share. I went to my dentist yesterday and got my teeth cleaned. Love love love the clean feeling. Then we started to chat....on hindsight, it was my dentist who started to chat since I couldn't. He reminded me that drinking alot of water is important. It's not just for good skin but it also 'dilutes' or 'thins' the saliva so it won't be thick with germs and bacteria. There are people who easily accumulate clacium buildup (plague) on the teeth cuz they don't drink enough. So drink up, people.

Next, I started talking about the Japanese population and their bad teeth (can't help it). My friend usually complain about their 'mushi ba' where 'mushi' is bug/worm and 'ba' is teeth. Yeah, you get the picture. So when my Japanese friends laugh, usually I spy black fillings at the back of their teeth. MANY black fillings. I don't see alot of such things with my Singaporean friends.

Dr Tan: You know why?
Me: Why?
Dr Tan: Because we have flouride in our water. In other countries, they don't. Some are adamant against having it. Human rights thing. So that's why we have stronger teeth so to speak.
Me: *wide eyed wonder*

As a note, most of my Japanese friends are in their 30s and already they have so many fillings....WOW. A little flouride goes a long way.

Yeah I have my bimbo moments but did you know? Thought so. :P Ok, I shall continue voting for PAP since they have been protecting my teeth since young.

PS: The flouride remains even if you boil your water so yeah, drink up.
