I wanna go to Harajuku!

*sigh* I miss Shibuya and Harajuku. Narita is becoming like Jurong Point for me...this time around I finally have more time in Tokyo so please God, don't bestow a fever on me AGAIN. Basket, I had to be back home when they finally have a snowstorm over there too. I bet when I fly there in a couple of days it will be warm and sunny already. You know what? Global warming isn't melting the glaciers, my luck is. :-(

Walked around Orchard Road in circles today hoping to get some high heel shoes and winter clothing (yeah, it does sound stupid). Ultimately went home empty-handed but not before being screamed at by a friend as being "Aiyah you are too picky!!". Nah, I am just a miser. Perhaps I will finally get new clothes when some guy breaks my heart and drives me to a crazed shopping frenzy.

Talking about guys, I read a hilarious book by Dave Barry on a COMPLETE GUIDE TO GUYS. It was a chapter teaching women how not to threaten men with commitment and man, did it make me laugh. Let me give you an example.

Situation: You meet for the first time.
Threatening Response: "Hello."
Non-threatening Response: "I am a nun." (Hahahahaha!! I'll try that next time.)

Situation: You're on your 1st date and the guy asks you what your hopes for the future are.
Threatening Response: "Well, I'll like to pursue my career for awhile, then get married and then maybe have children."
Non threatening Response: "A vodka."

Situation: You had a great time on the date and the guy asks you if you'd like to go out again.
Threatening Response: "Yes."
Non-threatening Response: "Ok, but bear in mind I have only 3 months to live."
