I'd like to welcome a new member to my family...................CHARLIE!!! I bought a kitten yesterday and I am ECSTATIC. I was beaming from ear to ear yesterday but when I got home, reality hit me fast and furious. I love the little furball of a kitten but I guess, you can't help but panic alittle. Still, just one little gaze at Charlie and you can't help but fall in love.

Charlie is a blue Persian without the flat, evil looking features lol. I doubt he is a pedigree but it doesn't matter. The thing about buying animals from Indonesia is....it's not only just falling in love with it, you feel the need to rescue it. Most of the pet shops are quite abominable when it comes to caging the animals. I'd been thinking about adopting but oh well, guess things happened. Anyway I really hope to get Charlie into a nice, gentle and affectionate cat. It would be good if I were able to bring him to hospices or homes as volunteer work (not sure if it were just restricted to dogs).

He has blue eyes, is 2.5months old and yet to shower. If looks could kill, Charlie's pong could too. Ha ha ha. But I mean, a wee furball? Forgiven. As of now, he had officially spent 24hours with me. I thought it was pretty cruel of me to separate him from his siblings and mother yesterday...oh well, the deed was done. He must be feeling pretty lonely. So I guess I'd become his unoffical 'Mummy' because he follows me like a little puppy. If I type on my laptop, he will be nestling on my lap or next to me (on the floor for now). He likes to smell my butt too. I have no idea why. If I am on all fours searching for him or cleaning his little bowls, he would be tickling my butt with his whiskers.

Cute right? Loverboy don't really like cats but I think he is leaning towards becoming Charlie's slave. Haha!! Just so you know, Loverboy was the one who picked out Charlie. I am more relaxed about my cats...it doesn't matter as long as it 'sayangs' me and is affectionate. Loverboy would check the colour of the fur; the eyes and the way they walk.

As of now, Charlie seems to be moping around abit. I wonder if it is sick or depressed?? I am worried sick...I don't wanna kill a kitten so young. I hope he gets better soon. In the meantime, it is straight to the vet first thing tomorrow!

Isn't it great? Besides Loverboy and cooking, now I have a new topic! Little Charlie :D

omggggg charrie is soooooo adorable!!! such a tiny little thing of cute! i can see why both you and loverboy fell in love with him, and rest assured, you guys will become his "slaves", hahaha. cats have that magical power to do that (i'm a good example).

charrie is still young and must be still getting used to his surroundings, so just be patient and give him more time, and more hugs and all.

btw, i wouldn't advise you to put his food/water bowls next to his litter tray. we don't shit where we eat, and cats don't either XD
