One thing great about my job is the fact I hardly get to meet my girlfriends (either due to flights or sheer laziness) so when we do meet, I think we always have fun. Catching up always involve alot of new juicy stories and oohs and ahhhs. Today was no different either. Sometimes I have to stop and really wonder where the time went?
Unfortunately, as fun as the day was, at the back of my mind, I was thinking about the fight I had with Loverboy the night before. Yep, that's real life. U can be newly married and still fight. Ok, we didn't fight. It was more me screaming (I'd rather say it's a menacing low voice) at Loverboy. I don't think I was unreasonable but I do have a problem with his drinkng. Loverboy isn't an alcoholic, he is a JAPANESE and his people DRINK. I don't like that. And being the golden retriever that he is, when he is around human beings he like, he gets very excited and buys rounds or share his whiskeys. (-__-;) And then everyone gets drunk and merry. What do I get? A damn drunk boyfriend/husband. It's never that fun for me when that happens. So last night I blew my top after the weekend of copious drinking. I was fierce, he cowered and I feel bad.
I feel bad. But there has to be a line somewhere. It was really ugly to see a grown man staggering home.
On the happier things and TO REALLY DISTRACT myself, I have been looking at pictures of different breeds of dogs and cats in my spare time. I would like to try to keep one when I move to Jakarta. Loverboy has a client who runs a Chow Chow farm and hopefully the next time I am there, I would get to visit the farm.

Looks like a teddy bear doesn't it? So cute. I saw it in Beijing last September and I was wondering what animal was this?? It looked like a cross between a lion and a bear. I love its stupid face and stocky build. Kinda looks like Loverboy too. But I didn't know it grows sooooo big. I don't think it will fit into our apartment.

So the Ragdoll cat may be an alternative! It's cute, it's big and apparently a very affectionate cat that behaves like a dog. I also like how cats are cleaner. They poop discreetly and clean themselves. If I get the Chow Chow, then I would have to feed 2 big dogs at home. (Guess which is the other?) The other good point of the Ragdoll is that it has no undercoat so its fur won't irritate people with sensitive noses like me. At least, not as badly.

The other alternative is a Birman. It looks pretty similar to the Ragdoll doesn't it? I love cats! So darn cute.
Aww damn it. I still feel kinda down. ARG.
