I'm back from my Amsterdam flight! It was soooo hot there I almost kena heatstroke. I thoroughly enjoyed myself sitting around various cafes and talking about everything under the sun with my colleagues. I love the al fresco culture in Europe. Very laidback, very unhurried. It helped that the breezes were cool and frequent.

Right after brunch, we walked a long-assed way to visit a Flower Market. On the way there, we were distracted by wide, green field, blonde boys, the Van Gogh Musuem and an Louis Vuitton shop. Since we couldn't claim any tax back, my colleagues gave up buying themselves a 'Neverfull'. Branded goods ARE cheaper in Europe. No wonder everyone was carrying a good bag. I am still waiting for a chance to 'tok' my loverboy of a Tod's or Loewe. Mwahahahahaha kidding lah (yeah right!). We were distracted by several pastry shops in Amsterdam too. All strawberry cakes look sooo pretty!

The Flower Market was an inspiration. I was so tempted to buy tulip bulbs and plant them. Of course they won't survive in Singapore's heat. :( One day, I will try anyway! The entire street gave out a lovely floral scent...I like. How do you not fall in love when you stroll along a market like this?

It's my first time taking an Amsterdam flight and I do notice that Europeans are way more polite and neater in general compared to Americans. American passengers usually eat like dogs. Very bad table manners. Singaporeans probably come a distant second. (take one look around hawker centres and you know what I am talking about) Tissues and utensils everywhere. Ok then again, I ain't gonna blog about table manners today. But I just can't help being anal about etiquette ok?! It's AMAZING seeing a hot girl eating with her mouth open. I guess God is fair.
Amazing I spent only $40-ish Euros in Amsterdam. I had no idea what to buy there. Who really needs wooden clogs and windmills at home ya? So just eat lor.
Anyway head is spinning, I am hungry and I feel like dancing!! Arg, I hate my schedule, no weekends!!
PS: No way!! Terence whathisname never picked me up. Don't know him. I think when he was chee ko pek-ing around, I was still in primary school. Hahaha.
