The Gist Of Things

RocketJim and Shogun met at the most fairytale of settings. Shogun was very nice to RocketJim and RocketJim fell pretty hard for him. He was charming, fiercely intelligent and funny. They shared many happy memories until he got more projects and became busy. RocketJim didn't know how to handle it and she withheld her feelings because she didn't want to distract Shogun at work.

They met up less often and conversations became more awkward. Maybe the Shogun was too caught up at work; maybe he met someone new or maybe he had always treated the friendship differently. RocketJim didn't know and was foolish not to ask. And did she suffer for it.

RocketJim's heart broke and wept for weeks. Guess a fairytale didn't came to be.

Life dealt her a lesson and she shall learn from it. Fortunately, her pillar of friends were always with her and helped her heart slowly heal again. It might take some time but she will become better and grow from it.

Life goes on and RocketJim shall not be missing out on it.
