Mustafa-ed!
It's a very small world and lunch on Tuesday further reinforced the fact how much an explorer 'ction is. Fahs wanted to surprise me with a tasty meal at Little India but he would never have figured that I have been there thrice. Now I am wondering if I should have lied and feigned surprise...he couldn't believe I have been there so many times. Unfortunately, I can't recall the name of the eatery (can you 'ction? The one where there are murals on the wall saying why human beings should be vegetarians) but when I do, I shall post it boldly and proudly. The food is really good there; I had a Maharaja Thosai (stuffed with curried potatoes, onions, peas and beansprouts) that cost about $3 only. So cheap considering how big the thosai was. Wow, I just can't believe it...Fahs said the eatery was famous among Indians in Singapore and 'ction found it while on several of his sojourns! Fahs could have sat next to 'ction before! Ooooooo. Maybe I am making a mountain out of a molehill but it's kinda surreal. I feel like the character from Dude, where's my car?
with perhaps an extra helping of weed.
Budsey kept nagging about the whole absurdity around 50 cents' CANDY SHOP song recently. "It's so dumb, the lyrics don't even make sense! How can anyone sing about sweets??" *proceeds to roll eyes* Of course, since I pretty much like the song, she shall detest it even more. Hahahaha, it's really funny listening to her condemning the song.
Our conversations were mainly like these:
RJ: It's not too bad, it's got a nice groove to it.
Budsey: Whatever~ I hate it and it's so stupid. You and your black men and songs.
RJ: What?! Nice what, it's sexy.
Budsey: *roll eyes*
RJ: Do you even know what he is singing/rapping about?
Budsey: Duh. Stupid candy shop.
RJ: Hehehehehehe oh yeah? What's the lollipop he is talking about?
Budsey: Who cares?
RJ: Why does he want the girl to lick the lollipop?
Budsey: *glares at me*
RJ: Kekekeke
So...I still can't figure out if she knows. I think not, she might freak out if I do sit down and explain it to her. "Budsey, you really wanna know what the lollipop is?" *wink wink* Hmmm would I tramautize her if I did? Well, I don't think my parents would do it, so it's up to me and Junie to explain Life to her ya? Hehehehe maybe we would freak her out so much she turns to bat for the same team. And yes, we repeated this conversation a few more times...I have no life after work! Haha. (Just kidding if you are reading this, Budsey. Big sis has ALOT of life. I AM SO HAPPENING!!!!)
Budsey: Dinosaur.
*shakes fist*

Sorry, I just now read your post. Anyway, the name of that South Indian vegetarian restaurant is called "Ananda Bhavan". I googled it and there is a website, with the very apt URL of "www.anandabhavan.com/".
Wow, it's so strange that outsiders scarcely venture into Little India. I must have been there over 20 times during my year in Singapore! But then again, I just love the vegetarian food at the many vegetarian or vegetarian-friendly restaurants at Little India. But there were many places in Singapore I loved to go! Especially since I was a visitor and knew that would have to return home, I figured that I'd better get all I could out of my time there!
I'm sure that your visit to that restaurant was very enjoyable and a tasty experience...but as for me, the true taste comes out only after you have become famished from walking all the way from Orchard Road...hahaha ;)
Do have fun and continue to mention me, OK? :)

So... did ya tell her that lollipops come with dandy flavors and wrappers? Wahahahaha. *winks*
Ooh. I have another Indian restaurant to reccommend: Komala Villa's, the non aircon version. It's fantastic and out of this world.
And the herbivorous Ko Ryo is calling someone else a=1
