*Hiccup*

For the first time in my life, I couldn't walk straight. I have never drank so much that I couldn't keep a straight line and it was a terrible feeling because I felt really unwell. Arg, I'm never a good drinker and I'll never do it again; throwing up isn't fun too. Ewwwwww haha.

Yesterday started really well and was packed with activities I didn't know I would agree to do at spurs of the moment. First thing in the morning, I went for a hearing test at Lucky Plaza before meeting Lisa for brunch. I never knew such a respectable clinic would be located in Lucky Plaza...face it, that place IS pretty sleazy. Oh, and don't worry for I have no problems with my hearing, it was a medical check. Now, brunch with Lisa was very fun since we haven't seen each other for ages and we chatted for hours. It's always better meeting a person in flesh instead of catching up through blogs. Blogs only indicate if a certain friend is alive and breathing. I'm so glad she's the same old corny self; although we are the bane of each other weight-wise and financially. Out with her, I shop ALOT. I found a lovely brown bag plus a really good bohemian skirt at very discounted prices. Shopping with the world's leading expert on Pasar Malam, don't play play huh! Since we were in Bugis, we also prayed at the Guan Yin Temple. I'm surprised she haven't been to the temple before, it's so famous! Hasn't she been watching Lunar New Year countdowns?!

After bidding dear Lisa goodbye, I met a colleague where we had a lovely conversation until 10 in the evening at the Esplanade. *wink Lisa wink* THEN, I received an invitation to another colleague's house for some drinks before hitting Insomnia. I can't believe I accepted such a short term proposal since I always need some mental preparation (yah, I am strange in that way). And that was when it all started. At my colleague's place, she served us Russian vodka and soda water with whiskey. Oh goodness, I was wondering what the clear liquid was since it had a strong smell and when I drank it, it really burned my mouth. Now I finally understand why some people wince and go "WOOOWWWWWWW" when they down powerful drinks. Damn, Russian vodka is yucky. That's for sailors! Hahaha. When we were suitably in a good mood, we popped over to Insomnia where I had another 2 Screwdrivers (vodka and orange juice). I heard those were for beginners but I had never drank so much in my entire life since I usually keep to a couple of light beers or cocktails. The band that plays in Insomnia is pretty good and the singers have good voices. But China Jump is more fun since I prefer their mix of music. My colleague, Miss B, worked there previously and she got us in to look around. So we partied until 3.30 in the morning before I decided I NEEDED to SLEEP. I really missed my bed, pillows and my toilet bowl. *laughs* Walking towards the taxi, I was pretty thrilled I couldn't walk straight. Haha nerd alert! Well, whatever it is, I don't ever want to over-drink again. I know I suck so I shall keep to within my limits. Fell into a deep, good sleep after a good shower. THAT, is what I call B-L-I-S-S.

I didn't hear my alarm clock ringing earlier today and I was late supermarket shopping. Was assigned to make sandwiches for gathering and when I was queueing to pay for my purchases, I realised I forgot the most important component: BREAD! Tsk tsk, must be the alcohol from the previous night.

Finally, before I left my house for the gathering today, my grandma told me to look for a boyfriend. A nice guy who would look after me. Now, why would she say that so suddenly? Made my eyes all misty. Well, I'm trying!

I'm not a big fan of alcohol either, but you should try out some White Russian next time. Those were good. :D

lol, try "graveyard" or "long island tea", really good starters, albeit mild, they will rock your night away.
