Stupidity

How have you been? I have been a good girl; been also eating and sleeping well. An up to something important so emotionally, have been swinging between anxiety and sheer happiness. Hope everything turns out alright in the end. *crosses fingers* Other than work, juggling my mountain of DVDs, sleep and the occasional cow rolling, I am only left with 15 mins' worth of energy to check mails. Damn, the internet is getting more boring with every second.

Just a couple of days back, I did something really silly at work. It was so silly/stupid I laughed all the way home. Due to the launch of a new Jet Airways from India, Changi Airport was giving away free caps to passengers. After dinner, my Singh manager walked to my counter, sat next to me and did some work. We chatted animatedly for several minutes when awkward silence overtook us. Being the GENEROUS person I am, I turned to him and said, "Hey, would you like a cap?" when I SPIED his TURBAN. I immediately felt stupid. We both looked at each other and kept quiet for 10 seconds. He finally cracked a huge smile and thanked me. "No thank you, I eh...already have one." I remained feeling stupid for the entire hour but I laughed all the way home on the MRT imagining him wearing a cap on top of his turban. Shoot, now my manager would think I am stupid!! I didn't mean it!

MOP: Exkew me, where is 5566 har?
Colleague: 5566? Which flight is that?
RJ: *silently laughs in her head*
MOP: 5566? You know?
Colleague: No, but which airlines is that? Which flight?
MOP: Argh, the boyband, you know? 5566???
Colleague: ??? Never heard of them.

Hahahaha, isn't that the stupidest thing ever? To name your band with a set of numbers?
