Singaporeans Make Me Wanna DIE

It's official, LOCAL SINGAPOREANS make the WORST customers/passengers/whatever. I don't know what went wrong when Singaporean children grow up but something is either very wrong with the society in general or many parents just suck at imparting discipline and courtesy. SINGAPOREANS MAKE ME SO MAD I WANT TO KILL MYSELF SO I DON'T HAVE TO SERVE THEM. I fear to say I am dreading work a little now because rude passengers get to me. It's nothing personal but I start flaring up when I help someone and I don't even get a 'thank you'. It's not that I do things to expect being repaid but you know, it's not difficult to say 'thank you'. Ugh. It's very abrupt when I direct a pax/MOP and then the fellow walks off without a word of thanks. 95% of the time, it's a LOCAL SINGAPOREAN. What the hell happened at home?? Isn't saying 'thank you' a reflex action? My colleague says I will get used to it. Unfortunately, I ain't and I am only getting more impatient by the day. Damn, this job really requires patience. Sometimes I wonder if even Mother Theresa could handle Singaporeans. Interestingly, the educated Singaporeans make the worst people. The less-educated Singaporeans are polite; they thank you profusely because they are intimidated by the airport and all of modern society's splendor. The English speaking ones oooo... are usually the assholes.

With every Singaporeans that piss me off, thank goodness there are

1. British
2. Australians
3. Indians (including Bangladeshis and Pakistanis)

to help me feel better. These nationalities are often GOLD COURTESY award winners. One of my colleagues received a severe scolding from a local (ah ber then?) and an Australian passenger witnessing from the side walked over to her and boomed "And a lovely Valentine's Day to you, Miss!" He put on his brightest smile to cheer her up when the nasty local walked away. I swore she almost cried after his sweet gesture. And there was also this Bangladeshi who bought us cheeseburgers (very scandalous considering he was a Hindu) and whom stayed to chat with us for 4 hours. He was very friendly and very funny AND also trying to get a PR here. I am excited because one more Indian PR means one more polite person in Singapore.

Damn, Singaporeans really suck. I hate my countrymen because so many are so impolite. Funny thing is, all my friends are nice...which means my friends' friends must be the nasty ones. Hehe. If not, where do the assholes come from? Screw sciences, business or arts. Every Singaporean (except me, my family and my friends) need to get a degree in BASIC COURTESY. Hot dang! I am still pissed mad!!
