Dinnertime

One kind soul did give me her morning shift afterall. It was last minute but I appreciated it so much because I had a great time on Friday evening catching up with my friends. There were a couple I really wanted to see after so long and I am now very much indebted to my colleague. *sighs with content* It was fun yet bittersweet. Don't ask me why. Anyway, I would upload some pics next time...well maybe.

One of my colleagues took a ML (medical leave) just cuz she couldn't get a morning shift. Another was allocated the most unfavourable position in the terminal and am trying to swap shifts. I am horrified at the work attitude. Come on, you are paid to do work! I can't believe it. Call me a nerd and absolute greenhorn, I don't care but I would never get a ML just because I couldn't get a particular shift. Even if I would have to skip a class gathering, I wouldn't consider a ML. (I would just sulk for half the shift. hehe)It's such a bother going to a doctor. Even if I would, it's a bigger bother to lie to him to get this certicate!! Is INTEGRITY lacking in today's workplace?! I can't believe the people who takes ML on a whim...arg. I would have no qualms firing these people.

Funny thing is that I actually get along with them although I am pissed at their work attitude. Ooooo I am really a hypocrite of the highest order...either that, I really enjoy shooting my own foot. Banzai!
