Lame Men
When I am unlucky, I stand in the MRT train for 24 stations from Chinese Garden to Changi Airport. (Actually that is nothing when I have stood from Chidori to Chiba but that's rare.) Not that I am complaining since I always have a good book with me. However I ALWAYS witness highly ungentlemenly behaviour which make me very sick. Arg. I see young able-bodied males fighting for seats with ah ums and ah peks. I always get so mad when I witness it but I am too chicken to walk up and scream at them. (Also those eejits that lean on poles.) These young males take advantage of the fact that the elderly walk slower so they zoom pass them and snatch the seats right under the elderly's loose fitting dentures. GRRRR, I am appalled and sick. I thought these men went through National Service? I thought they become better people from it even though it is no etiquette seminar. Man, in fact I think I need to relax on this because thinking about it makes me almost go into a cardiac arrest, I am so freaking pissed...now that sounds familiar...oh White Girls. Haha...still I am angry and I am appalled. I told some colleagues but they shrugged it off and blame it on the culture. Are Singaporeans really that nasty?
Most of the rudest passenger I have met are also locals. They turn up at the counters with only their nostrils showing and demand why the airplane didn't land earlier. "That's because your fat relative is weighing the plane down, bitch." Of course I can't say that. Since I am a natural hypocrite, I smile my sweetest and apologise and pretend to call the airlines asking why it is taking so long. Hehe. I have to strive to provide better service because I notice I am only good if the passengers are polite. If I meet rude ones, I start to flare up myself which isn't good. Luckily my colleagues have been intervening whenever there is a jerk/bitch (^_^) but I would have to deal with them one day so do wish me luck. (Sometimes I do wish my dad is some underground kingpin who would send men after nasty passengers.) Anyway, like how my fellow colleagues like to console themself after a nasty incident, mutter "KANA SAI". *laughs* Works better than Chicken soup for the soul.
Gonna finally catch Kumar on stage! Singapore's most well known drag queen from Boom Boom Room! Yay!!
