I Shall Keep Realistic
The day started pretty bad: I was walking to the train station when I suddenly realised I forgot some very important deocuments and my cellphone. And thus, I had to turn back and waste another 10 minutes crossing bigassed traffic junctions. All in all, I spent about 20 minutes walking to and fro. I should have prepared them the night before. I was so late at work but I seriously didn't care. Alright, I did panic a little but then when I thought how boring the work was, I switched into the biatch mode. Initially, I thought the work was OK; the people were friendly but something just kept gnawing me. Yeah I met the person in-charged of me today and she didn't seem to like me. We hardly had eye contact and when she wanted to convey something to me, she would get her subordinates to do it (though I am standing right behind her). Next, I spent 3 hours calling 45 Australian clients but when my colleague wanted to transfer the file to her Outlook whatever, she erased my entire morning's work. Well done. She was lucky my memory was honed from gaming.

Things started to pick up when I had nothing more to do with that company. It was my last day since it was only a 3 day assignment. *laughs* After the bad morning, things really started picking up. I went to Lavender to get a new passport and it's so much cheaper with the new application system. I saved $10 by not going to the counter! That's alot of money and both would take 3 working days anyway. So...All Singaporeans out there who wish to make a new passport, DON'T GO TO THE COUNTER!!

After that, I made a trip to DFS (Duty Free Shopper) for a walk-in job interview. I saw a few babes there...ooo hubba hubba, maybe I could be working with them. Anyway, I was pretty much hoping I would land a job in sales where I could wear a uniform but the department director had different ideas for me. She prefers me working with her at the admin side researching the spending habits and power of tourist from PRC. She told me if my attitude is good during the month, she might consider sending me to Okinawa!! My eyeballs almost popped and I felt like jumping off my seat to dance. If she sends me there, I shall buy her flowers every month...afterall, what is better than working for DFS in Okinawa? (Oh I know! Sanada's personal masseuse hmm...like everywhere) But now that I have had time to think through it, why and how would she remember me 6 months to come? *sniff* Must think of ways to keep in her view...make her my new buddy. Mwahahahaha.

It's really useful to have a third language. I urge everyone who has time to spare to pick up a new skill or language. It's really an investment for the future.

Banzai! June is coming home! *countdowns*
