Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I am really touched. I had a great weekend thanks to all you guys. I had a great dinner on saturday with my bunch of close friends. We went to Lau Pat Sat for some good, cheap local food and later to Max Brenner at the Esplanade for some of the better hot chocolates I have ever tasted. Wanted to try the chocolate fondue badly but since I am a jobless cheapskate, I decided against it.
Lets see, Shannon and Ricky gave me lovely embroidered tops; Cindy got me MAYDAY and David Tao CDs; Meixia got me a cow and Mindy got me a tattoo. I am the most contented girl this month. August didn't give me anything...and Audrey gave me a contract to get HER some 5566 concert tickets. I guess siblings are the best people on earth. Blood is thicker than water eh.
Special honorary mention to Audrey who wished me a Happy Bday in her blog and went on to espouse on how she wouldn't like to grow up and find a job and be stuck in a mundane life yadda yadda. Thank you. I feel very relieved turning 23. :P
Anyway, talking about cheapskates...oh my, I am turning into a huge one. I hide at home because I want to prevent spending. I could make things right by finding a job but I'm just stuck in an awkward position. Argh. Too many wants...want to rent TVB shows, buy FFX-2, take Japanese lessons, Sanada, a cap, Onimusha 3, also Samurai Warriors, pants, Sanada, a belt, good food, The Sims Deluxe pack, CDs, Sanada and driving lessons.
