*phone rings*
RJ: Hey Rose! Yo.
Rose: Hey hey hey. What's up?
RJ: Ummm, I just want to catch up with an old buddy. Nothing's really up.
Rose: Haha yeah right!! Out with it, you got something up your sleeve right?!
RJ: HAHA! Noooooo. Come on lah.
Rose: Yeah right, you have something on right? You never call me for no reason.
RJ: *weeps* Awwww come on!! REALLY. Nothing's on.
Rose: New guy?
RJ: Nope.
Rose: Hmmmmm...
RJ: AIYAH!! Nothing!!!
Seriously, Rose is one of the funniest and most confident girls I have ever have the fortune to meet. No, in fact, it's her fortune to have met me. (Tsk tsk, talk about arrogance!) She used to think I am God's gift to her...damn, she wised up. *laughs* Anyway, it's funny how she believes I only call her when I have 'something up my sleeve'. I need to reflect on it and change if I am such a jerk. Then again, maybe it is just a case of dementia on her part. She must have mistaken me for someone else.

I helped my dad dyed the lower section of his hair and it dawned on me for the first time, my dad is really starting to grow old. Maybe not really the first time but it's just something I am always in denial of. My childhood phobia of my parents aging had never left me; I still panic at nights where I can't get to sleep and start all those stupid thoughts about them leaving me. What will I do without them? Bah, go away bad thoughts!! Anyhow, the second thing that dawned on me was that, my dad looked like Jack Nicholson with his hair pulled back and all. Jack Nicholson's looks with Robert DeNiro's attitude. Oh wow...I am already pitying the guy whom I will bring home to show dad.
Jobhunt jobhunt jobhunt...want something where I can command respect, decent pay, many dudes and wear a smart uniform. Hehe. Have narrowed down to 3-4 choices but choosing either of them will result in my sacrificing at least one of those career ideals. Oh pain! Alas! Curse you foul fillst fate!!
