Celebrities and Body Lotion Mania

On my flights to and from L.A. this time, there were 2 major celebrities. One was Matsushima Nanako and the other, Ayumi Hamasaki.

One you would probably wish to marry, the other...probably not

I managed to see Nanako and she is one very tall, charismatic lady. She looked pretty huge to me but then again, she is pregnant afterall. She was travelling with her daughter, who according to some seniors was 'not very cute'. I pretty much switched off when I heard them seniors exchanging their opinions on Nanako's daughter.

Senior #1: The daughter not very cute leh. Eyes very small.
Senior #2: Sou sou. Her eyes very small ne! Demo Nanako san's husband ha very handsome desho?
Senior #1: Very handsome! Poor thing, the kid is so plain compared to her parents. (At this point in time, I decided to look for more work.)
Senior #3: Yah. Aiya, the mother is one of thee top beauties in Japan and the father, so hot. The poor kid is sooooo plain in comparison.

Just in case you are wondering, this is Nanako's husband, Takashi:

Nay, I won't mind having an ugly kid with him

I tell you, sometimes the things coming out of women's mouths are so vicious. Is it a wonder I choose to hang out with myself? At least my shadow has deeper, philosophical and KIND thoughts.

I didn't manage to see Ayumi because my passengers kept me so freaking busy. I did see a huge variety of her Louis Vuitton trunks and luggages. Another senior was telling me that everytime Ayumi flies, she argues with the leading stewardess. In fact, this particular senior made sure our leading stewardess knew about Ayumi's infamous temper. Hence, the poor woman had a bad case of jitters before the passenger boarding. Luckily Ayumi was on good behavior on my flight... though someone was telling me she was crying throughout the flight. Poor Ayumi. I wonder what made her so depressed.

Senior #3: I heard she has a fling in L.A. She must miss him alot.

Damn.

I do detest these gossip mongers.

Anyway, on to more pressing issues. I have been looking so long for the perfect moisturizer because I have such, terrible dry and itchy skin. And with winter around the corner, I am worried. I have been counting my used containers and I think in the past 10 months, I have 'drank' almost 5-10 litres of moisturizers. If you need opinions about any brand, ask me. I have tried almost every brand out in the market. Check this out:

Yuh, tried everyone of one them pictured here. There are countless other Japanese body moisturizers I haven't included either. Most of them work someWHAT. On the bottom of RocketJim's list are lotions from Victoria Secrets and Bath & Bodyworks. These suck as skin healing agents but great if you want to smell like a fruit.

Nivea is somewhat ok. Have to reapply often. Whitening lotion does not work.

Aveeno has NO smell. Hence, less preferred.

Eucerin. Tad too oily. I left fingerprints everywhere.

Sebamed. Not bad. Nice, light fragrance and good for sensitive skin. I used a whopping 6 bottles this year. (Free from company doctor. Heh heh yay!)

BodyShop...nay. Shea butter is too thick. Others feel like sticky water.

Crabtree and Evelyn is pretty good. Everything smells so lovely too. Love Wisteria and Lily of the Valley. Rose smells very luxuriant too.

Jergens. Excellent. I rotate around Aloe Vera and Ultra Healing. Using my 3rd litre.

After looking around for so long, I have found the perfect one. I can't believe I've been missing it out all these years. It smells GREAT and it works so well. Even better, it is mild enough for sensitive, itchy skin. Presenting to you, my ulimate skin healing agent:

Cheap and good. I guess sometimes, the best solution is the most simple one.

No wonder babies smell so good~
