Empress Boodiboo made me watch 'Little Miss Sunshine' and I loved it. It's such a sweet film; simple, solid in its story-telling but so entertaining. I guess sometimes, you just don't need alot of special effects or heavy 'higher than thou' scripts to make a good movie. I hope the Oscars reward Little Miss Sunshine! Rent if you can, I totally recommend it.

I was thinking...that it is very important that everyone has a childhood. Kids these days just don't get enough of it. They either go from one cram school to another or have tons of extra tuition. I never get it when parents force their kids to learn the piano just cuz they never had the chance to learn it. I just think...let the kids play. Set them loose in a park or give them a bucket of Lego blocks. I had alot of playtime when I was young and I was always surrounded by my siblings. We drew alot, built farms from Lego blocks or castles from books. We had a mountain of toys. I didn't have tuition until I was 13 (because my Maths started to suck so bad) but I didn't turn out too bad...I still managed to get into college. Hehe...
Kids need play to develop imagination. No imagination = no wits = boring people = Steves and Stevens of the World who try to pick RJ up with lousy conversations.
Haha!
Happy New Year.
