The First Overseas Post

0647hrs: Am sitting in an internet corner in a hotel in Narita. Couldn't sleep at all and I woke up around 4.30am weeping from a very sad dream. I dreamt that my paternal grandmother threw me a surprise birthday dinner and boy...do I miss her. She left me in 1991 and I wondered if I have ever let go. She didn't do much in my dream; just smiled alot and helped herself to alot of food. (She didn't even gave me some lottery numbers!) I missed you alot, grandma.

0659hrs: Hmmm...I have been staring at the screen for about 5 minutes doing practically nothing. No wonder my friends say I am weird.

0700hrs: Thinking about going to see Sakura but I am not sure if they are blooming...perhaps I should see the sakura with someone more special.

0704hrs: I am hungry, should go get breakfast at the convenience store.

I love love love New York. I caught the musical, Beauty & The Beast at Times Square and it was perfect. The stage was dazzling and the costume designs made my jaws drop. I shall promise myself to catch more musicals when I go there.

The flight hours are horrendous though; it took me 11hrs and 45min to fly there and 13hours to fly back. On the both ways, I worked with a very lazy senior so I did ALOT of work. I only realised halfway through the flight why I was posted to serve different aisles at odd times: Nobody wanted to work with the lazy senior lah. *laughs* Well, since I am most junior I can't complain. Anyway I wasn't that angry because...I dunno, maybe I am just too nice. Haha!

Also, I keep meeting weird men (ok, only 3 actually) on the flights this time. The one from Singapore looked and behaved like a wolf. From New York, this pleasant old Japanese passenger kept insisting I served him a few days earlier and since I couldn't convince him otherwise, I just smiled. Everytime I came out of the kitchen, he would keep staring and that made me very nervous. The third one I don't even wanna talk about. Yeah, one day I should compile a book on short stories about the various passengers I meet. There was also this elderly Chinese passenger who told me wayyy too much about her toilet activities! Argh.

0726hrs: Ok, breakfast time. Shall post pictures when I get back to Singapore.

Now I'm interested in what the 3rd passenger did.

Did he actually take a dump on his seat or something? Maybe was hanging off of the walls like a monkey?
