Free Bird

I have finished my stint at the airport. I can't believe how fast the 8 months have past, it seemed just like yesterday when I nervously signed on the dotted line. ("Wah! 12 months contract?! Never worked so long before, 8 months can?") And now, I am a free woman again...for 2 weeks at least and it's back to the airport. Wahahaha Life sure know how to bitchslap people staying in the west. My new job training will be conducted at the 9-5pm slot and I DREAD to think what time I have to wake up every morning. However, since it allows me to fly to Japan for 6 weeks, I shall not complain! In fact, I shall kiss the foot of my Instructor every morning*! Banzai!

I thought I would be crying alot on my last day but I did not...I figured I would be meeting my ex colleagues pretty often anyway. How different this parting was comapared to the one in Chidori-Tokyo. Jasmine and I started crying buckets when the land lady broke down. (And I thought she detested us!) That day, I cried all the way from the dormitory to Narita airport and finally into the plane. All the good friends I shall leave behind; it didn't help that we live in different continents. So anyway, to continue on the original thread, it was a great last day at work. I was posted to a fun counter, everyone was in a good mood, was entertained by the usual lost Indian passengers and I saw many handsome men. Heh heh. 8 months into my job and they only decide to appear on my last day!! *shakes fist* Oooo I have to sidetrack because this Japanese dude that came to me was sooooooo gorgeous. He looked 85% like this actor: Takenouchi Yutaka. He even had this pair of eyes that somewhat look into different directions. Hahahaha so uncanny.

With goatee (Oui!)

Without Goatee (Cheh~)

I had an enjoyable 10 minutes eyefest. Happiness! Nudged my 3 Filipino, Burmese and Indonesian colleagues and they started fanning themselves too. But ALAS! He is probably about 166cm (5'5ft) tall only. As my mum love to say, God is fair.

I had thoroughly enjoyed myself most of the 8 months and made many good friends. Most of them will remain as photographs or memories (some shall remain as plankton due to their minimal brain activity), a few I shall really cherish. *sigh* Partings are never easy. Sometimes I wonder where do human beings find the strength to move on in life.

My agenda for the next week is to mainly SLEEP. Banzai! Meet up with my girlfriends, bake alot, try to make some good bentos and thoroughly pamper myself. There are many movies I wanna rent but I am kinda afraid to approach the Scary VCD Shop Auntie. My buddy bluffed the Scary VCD Shop Auntie I went to Japan so I was safe for 2-3 months. Wahahahaha~ should I go back to her huh? Stressed...maybe I should save the money to dye my hair instead. I need to get it black for training.

Today was my first day out of the job and I feel damn good! Weather was lovely, breeze was cooling, people were polite and I had gorgeous company to Orchard Road. I feel soooo happy!

Cya good people.

*In the event that the sun rises from the West.
